nef (the new economics foundation) works on economic, social and environmental issues through a mixture of practical pilot projects and tools for change, in-depth research, campaigning, policy discussion, and raising awareness through the media and publications. We also incubate new organisations and campaigns that can create long-term change in society.

We currently have three 'hot topics': real world economics, clone town britain, and well-being.
